The Green Party of Canada is pleased to announce the nomination of an environmental chemist in the riding for Brome-Missisquoi. Mr. Normand Dallaire who holds a Bachelor of Sciences from UQTR and two graduate degrees, including a masters in environmental studies at the University of Sherbrooke will be the proud representative of the Green Party of Canada in the riding for Brome-Missisquoi.

Member of l’Ordre des chimistes du Québec since 1994, Mr. Dallaire amassed more than 25 years of experience in fields as varied as the treatment of wastewater and drinking water, management of hazardous materials, R&D, collecting household hazardous waste and climate change.

Based on his experience, these different types of work led him to further studies, and, in 2012, write a manual on the management of hazardous waste, a first in Quebec. He also participated in the update of the Health Guide – Safety – Environment Laboratory, published by the l’Ordre des chimistes du Québec. More recently, he signed a new guide on hazardous materials used at home.

« Environmentalist and confident entrepreneur, I adhere to the vision of sustainable development of the Green Party of Canada. We can develop businesses while respecting the environment, since the necessary technology already exist! It will only take a nudge in the right direction to encourage organizations such as manufacturers, agricultural and food industries and our whole society may benefit. As a teacher, I am available and close to my students and I want to do the same to the people of Brome-Missisquoi, as deputy. «

« I am currently a consultant and teacher-coordinator for the new program in Environnement, hygiène et sécurité au travail (EHST) at the Cégep de Sherbrooke. And since April 2017, I am also president of the Association Québécoise pour l’Hygiène, la Sante et la Sécurité du Travail.(AQHSST).

The Green Party is counting on the support of the people of Brome-Missisquoi in the next election ballot so that Mr. Normand Dallaire will worthily represent your county.
